5 Roots Farm is a family run farm in the Texas Hill Country near Blanco, Texas. The name 5 Roots Farm is inspired by the owners family, a husband and wife team along with their three children. We are committed to producing high quality, nutritious, and delicious microgreens for our Hill Country community.
Our Mission
We are on a mission to provide high quality, local, and fresh microgreens to the community and surrounding areas we call home. Our goal is to deliver fresh microgreens to restaurants and consumers within hours of harvest.
Microgreen Uses
Microgreens make a delicious addition to almost any dish. Add them to salads, sandwiches, stir frys, or even a smoothie. Microgreens are nutrient dense and even contain more vitamins and antioxidants that their fully grown counterparts.
Our Practices
Sustainability is important to us. Our microgreens are grown in organic soil from organic, non-gmo seeds and packaged in compostable packing after harvest. We strive to use the most sustainable and environmentally friendly practices on 5 Roots Farm.
